Minister: Gbagyis Are The Most Hard-Working People

The Minister of state for Foreign Affairs, Amb. Zubair Dada, has  said people of the Gbagyi tribe are the most hard working and hospitable. 

It was not vivid enough to know if he meant in Niger state or in Nigeria as a whole. 

He made the remarks at an award event held at the Justice Idris Legbo Kutigi conference center in Minna the Niger state capital today (26th December). 

The event was organized to recognize and award exemplary members of the Gbagyi tribe. 

The Emir of Minna, Umar Bahago, represented by the Niger state commissioner of Budget and Planning, Mamman Musa, used the opportunity to call on the Gbagyi community strive with means available to them to improve the quality of education especially paying more attention to the girl child. 

Strengthening security in Gbagyi land and the state as a whole was also emphasized.

Gbagyis are found majorly in central Nigeria. The are found majorly in four states of the federation; Niger, Abuja, Kaduna and Nassarawa states.
